DC Films Production House’s Sound Of Water (Paani Ki Aawaz) (UA) is the story of water shortage and rain water harvesting.
Rohan (Abraam Pandey) and Pooja (Jashpreet Kaur) learn about rain water harvesting in college and then they set out to adopt the method to conserve water. They have to face obstacles but they surmount them.
Shravan Kumar Rathore has penned a story devoid of any entertainment value whatsoever. His screenplay is equally dull and boring. Frankly, the story is meant for a documentary. The drama is so devoid of any meaning (in commercial terms) that it leaves the audience wondering why the script was written in the first place. Shravan Kumar Rathore’s dialogues are weak.
Abraam Pandey does not look like a hero. He fails to impress in the acting department too, in the role of Rohan. Jashpreet Kaur lacks the looks of a heroine. Her acting, as Pooja, is also dull. Ramesh Goyal is alright as Rohan’s father. Chandrashekhar Chauhan, Shravan Kumar Rathore, Salim Khan, Chetan Sharma, Madhu Kumar and Pooja Dewangan lend routine support.
Shravan Kumar Rathore’s direction is embarrassing to watch. The film is poor in all other departments too.
On the whole, Sound Of Water (Paani Ki Aawaz) is a disaster of a film.
Released on 13-12-’19 at Movie Star (daily 1 show) of Bombay thru Mates Entertainment. Publicity & opening: pathetic. …….Also released all over. Opening was poor everywhere.
