Raveena Tandon and Farah Khan apologised to Cardinal Oswald Gracias in Bombay on 29th December, tendering him an unconditional written apology. Bharti Singh, the third person alleged to have hurt the sentiments of Christians, was abroad and hence she apologised to the Cardinal on a video call.
The three were accused of hurting religious sentiments of the Christian community on a television show when they allegedly made fun of the word ‘Hallelujah’ in a web show. A police complaint was filed against the trio in Amritsar at the behest of the Christian Samaj Front of Amristar district.
