SALMAN KHAN HELPS VERTICALLY CHALLENGED ARTISTES | 4 May, 2020

Salman Khan provided financial assistance to 45 vertically challenged artistes during the lockdown after one such artiste, Pravin Rana, said that artistes like him were not being helped by anybody although daily-wage cine workers were being looked after by the film industry.

Salman recently gave financial aid to members of the All India Association of Special Artistes (AIASA). The AIASA has 90 members and is affiliated to the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE). The other 45 members will be similarly aided. According to Pravin Rana, “The vertically challenged artistes were pleasantly surprised when they had Rs. 3,000 deposited by Salman Khan in each of their bank accounts on 28th April. Pravin Rana has worked with Salman in Bharat and added that even during the film’s shooting, Salman never shied away from helping him and people like him. Another vertically challenged artiste, Shamim Ahmed, who played a circus employee in Bharat, said, “The vertically challenged artistes have been promised similar help in May too.”
