Shabina Saeed, wife of producer Firoz A. Nadiadwala, was granted bail yesterday (10th November) in the drugs case in which she was arrested on 8th. She was held by the Narcotics Control Bureau when it raided the bungalow of Firoz Nadiadwala, and found 10 gms. of ganja. The 8th metropolitan magistrate court granted her cash bail of Rs. 15,000 and directed her to attend the NCB office once a week for a month.
Shabina’s lawyer argued that she was not a peddler of drugs but rather a consumer and hence the court took a reformation approach to grant her bail.
