Vibhor Anand, the lawyer from Delhi, who had been arrested on 15th October for his controversial online posts about Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide case, was finally released on bail after the sessions court in Bombay vacated the stay on its order on 9th November. He had been granted bail last week but the oder was stayed as the prosecution sought time to file an appeal. The appeal has not been filed.
Granting him bail, the court remarked, “If it is found that the applicant has misused the bail, in that case, the investigation agency is at liberty to approach this court for cancellation of bail.”
