Neetu Kapoor and Varun Dhawan, the stars of Dharma Productions’ Jug Jugg Jeeyo, have tested positive for COVID-19. Director Raj Mehta has also tested positive. Anil Kapoor and Kiara Advani, who were also on the sets, have tested negative. Rumours were rife that Anil had also tested positive but brother Boney Kapoor has confirmed that Anil did not test positive. The film was being shot in Chandigarh. Shooting had to be halted because of this.
It is believed that a scene of a keertan was shot a couple of days back for the film. The shooting necessitated a crowd, because of which the two actors and the director may have contracted the virus.
