DELHI-U.P. EXHIBITOR VINOD LAMBA DIES OF COVID-19 | 8 December, 2020

COVID-19 claimed yet another film industry person today (December 8) when veteran Delhi-U.P. exhibitor Vinod Lamba died of it this morning. He was in his early seventies. He is survived by his daughter and her family. The cremation took place this evening.

Vinod Lamba was the vice president of the Motion Pictures Association (MPA), Delhi. He had served as the general secretary of the MPA for a number of years. At one time, he used to control a lot of cinemas in the Delhi-U.P. circuit. During the last few years, he had given up the control of his cinemas and had moved to acquiring negative rights of films. He was considered a shrewd businessman.
