The Bombay police yesterday (December 11) thanked filmmaker Rohit Shetty for his generous support provided to their members during the pandemic lockdown. From arranging eight hotels for city police officers throughout the lockdown to now sponsoring complete medical treatment and care at Bombay’s Saifee hospital for over 70 cops struck by COVID-19, Rohit has supported the Bombay police for protecting the city throughout the pandemic.
To thank him for his help and concern, Rohit Shetty was presented a token of gratitude and appreciation by the police.
Apart from doing a lot for the Bombay police, Rohit has also done a great deal for the daily-wage workers of the film industry throughout the trying times.
