Madhur Mittal, who had acted as a child star in Slumdog Millionaire, was booked earlier this week by the Khar (Bombay) police for sexually assaulting his ex-girlfriend. The assault took place on 13th February when Madhur barged into his former girlfriend’s home. Reportedly, Madhur and the girl had severed all ties on 11th February.
According to Niranjani Shetty, lawyer of the victim, “Madhur strangled her neck more than 15 times, slapped her multiple times, pulled her hair, yanked her ears and punched her under the right eye, physically lifted her and assaulted her. It was a sexual attack. She has sustained bruises and injuries all over her face, neck, chest, ribs, hands, back, ears and eyes.” The police have registered an FIR for molestation, sexual harassment and sexual assault.
