The lady astrologer, who last month filed a rape and extortion case against television actor and singer Karan Oberoi, alleged on 25th May that two unidentified men on motorbikes slashed her arm with a blade that morning at Andheri in BomÂbay. She further alleged that the bikers then threw a paper chit at her with the words ‘take back the case’ scribbled on it. The woman was taking her morning walk when the alleged incident took place.
A case was registered against unÂknown persons under Indian Penal Code sections 34 (common intention), 324 (causing hurt with a dangerous weapon) and 506-II (criminal intimidation). The Oshiwara (Bombay) police late on 30th May arrested four youngsters in the case. One of the four is a distant relative of her own lawyer.
