The coordination committee of the media and entertainment industry (comprising all the craft unions, broadcasters and associations of producers) has written yet another letter to Maharashtra chief minister Uddhav Thackeray, requesting him to restart the media and entertainment industry in view of the declining number of COVID-19 cases in the state in general and Bombay city in particular. The committee has reiterated that strict COVID protocols and SOPs will be followed for the safety and security of the cast and crew members.
Similar letters had been written to the chief minister on 16th April, 21st April and 28th April.
