Producer Raj Mehta (Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Ltd.) was today (29th September) granted conditional bail by a two-member bench of the Supreme Court, consisting of Justices L. Nageshwara Rao and Sanjiv Khanna. He will walk out of the Taloja jail on 1st October after almost six-and-a-half years behind bars.
Raj Mehta (real name Harshad Purshottamdas Mehta) had been sent to jail for misappropriation of public funds.
