Taking Dera Sacha Sauda chief and actor-producer-director Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh to Punjab for investigation of sacrilege cases may create law and order problems, the Punjab and Haryana high court observed recently while hearing a petition filed by Singh. The court made it clear that it would be open to the Special Investigation Team again interrogating the Dera chief, if required, by giving advance information to the superintendent of Sunaria jail in Rohtak, where he was currently lodged following his conviction in rape and murder cases.
The Dera chief has been seeking pre-arrest bail in the sacrilege cases in which he was ordered to be produced in Punjab.
