MARATHI FILM ACTRESS REKHA KAMAT PASSES AWAY | 11 January, 2022

Veteran Marathi film and television actress Rekha Kamat passed away today (11th January) at her residence at Mahim in Bombay. She was 89. Among her well-known films were Aggabai Arrechha and Eka Lagnachi Dusri Goshta. She was also seen in Marathi TV serial Prapanch. Besides films and television serials, Rekha a.k.a. Kumud Sukhtankar had also acted in dramas. She was seen in Hindi film Bhoot, starring Ajay Devgan and Urmila Matondkar.

Rekha had retired from acting a few years back due to health issues.
