Fortune Pictures has signed Shivam Nair to direct, and Ritesh Shah to write a geopolitical thriller. It will star John Abraham. Pre-production work has started for the venture which is being jointly produced with Wakaao Films.
Sameer Dixit, Jatish Varma and Girish Johar are partners in Fortune Pictures. Ritesh Shah is also writing a female action revenge thriller for the production company. Besides the two films being written by Ritesh Shah, Fortune Pictures will back two films to be helmed by Srijit Mukherji, two to be directed by Gautham Menon, and a young comedy entertainer, to be directed by Anees Bazmee, and written by Jasvinder Singh Bath and Ravi Shankaran.
Fortune Pictures is also in advance talks with a Hollywood production company for jointly producing content.
