Manvender Singh, the Lucknow resident who was arrested on July 25 for sending Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif threats for four months, was granted bail on August 1. He had even posted on Instagram that Katrina’s sister, Isabelle, had married Vicky Kaushal on December 9, 2021, four days before Katrina married Vicky.
The police wrote to the social media platform to pull down Manvender Singh’s Instagram account in which he posted morphed photographs with Katrina Kaif as well as threat videos. The police are also searching for the person who helped the suspect.
Singh was sent to judicial custody after completing police custody on July 28. He was booked under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Information Technology Act.
