Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning (dubbed and the original English versions) did well in the first week. The first day (Saturday) closed at Rs. 18.89 crore. Collections on Sunday increased only marginally, to Rs. 19.05 crore. After a 2-day weekend total of Rs. 37.94 crore, collections for the weekdays were: Monday – Rs. 6.21 crore, Tuesday – Rs. 5.79 crore, Wednesday – Rs. 4.79 crore, Thursday – Rs. 4.63 crore. Hence the total for the weekdays was Rs. 21.42 crore. Hence the total for the first 6-day week was Rs. 59.36 crore.
Final Destination: Bloodlines (dubbed and the original English versions) did fairly well in the first week. It collected about Rs. 18 crore in the first 3-day weekend, after netting Rs. 4 crore on the first day (Thursday). Hence the first 4-day weekend’s total was Rs. 22 crore. Collections for the weekdays totalled Rs. 12 crore. In this way, the film netted Rs. 30 crore in the first 7-day week. Hence the total for the first 8-day week was Rs. 34 crore.
Shinchan: Our Dinosaur Diary (animation; dubbed versions; Japanese version was not screened in 2nd week) did better in the second week than in the first. It netted approximately Rs. 3 crore in 2nd week. Grand total for 2 weeks: Rs. 5.50 crore.
Raid 2 did quite well in 3rd week and should cross the Rs. 150-crore mark in the fourth weekend. It collected around Rs. 11 crore in the third weekend, and another Rs. 7 crore during the weekdays. Therefore, the total for 3rd week was Rs. 18 crore. Grand total for 3 weeks: Rs. 146 crore.
Thunderbolts (dubbed and the original English versions) did very average business in 3rd week, falling more than 75%. It netted approximately Rs. 1 crore in the third weekend, and another Rs. 0.50 crore during the weekdays. Hence the total for 3rd week was Rs. 1.50 crore. Grand total for 3 weeks: Rs. 23.75 crore.
Kesari Chapter 2 did ordinary in the fifth week, netting only Rs. 2.25 crore. Hence the grand total for 5 weeks went up to Rs. 91.75 crore.
Banjara (Marathi) fared poorly in 1st week all over Maharashtra.
Posco 307 (Marathi) failed to impress the public in the first week in Maharashtra.
Gulkand (Marathi) did fairly well in 3rd week too in Maharashtra.
Aata Thambaycha Naay (Marathi) did quite well in 3rd week also all over Maharashtra.
Jai Mataji – Let’s Rock (Gujarati) scored in the second week too in Gujarat and Saurashtra.
