Film producers shooting in Abu Dhabi will henceforth be entitled to a cash back rebate of up to 50%, the emirate’s Creative Media Authority and Film Commission announced today (January 20). Thus far, the rebate available is 35% for international, regional and local production companies on in-market production and post-production costs.
A point-based system has been finalised to decide on the rebate amount.
