AKSHAY KUMAR SENDS RS. 500 CRORE DEFAMATION NOTICE TO YOUTUBER | 21 November, 2020

Akshay Kumar on 20th November served a defamation notice of Rs. 500 crore on one Rashid Siddiquee, a YouTuber from Bihar. On his YouTube channel, FF News, Rashid had made allegedly objectionable and defamatory videos against Akshay Kumar by linking his name to Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. Akshay has demanded a public apology from Siddiquee for defaming him, levelling false accusations against him and for making objectionable videos about him. He has also demanded that the videos be taken down immediately. The videos, among other things, alleged that Akshay had secret meetings with Maharashtra cabinet minister Aaditya Thackeray and Bombay police commissioner Parambir Singh in the Sushant death case.

It may be mentioned here that the Bombay police had booked Rashid Siddiquee on other charges of defamation for insulting and publicly humiliating Aaditya Thackeray and Parambir Singh through his social media posts and videos.
