CALL FOR BAN ON ‘THANK GOD’ | 19 September, 2022

After the ban of its trailer in Kuwait, Indra Kumar’s Thank God is in the eye of a controversy in India too. Vishvas Kailash Sarang, medical education minister of Madhya Pradesh, has requested I & B minister Anurag Thakur to ban the Ajay Devgan and Sidharth Malhotra starrer. According to Sarang, the film shows Chitragupt in bad light and, therefore, hurts the sentiments of the Kayastha community and of Hindus in general.

Sarang has sent letters to cinemas in his state, asking them to refrain from releasing the film. It is due for release on 25th October.
