‘CHEHRE’ FIRST HINDI FILM TO BE SCREENED IN PUNE FESTIVAL | 20 March, 2022

Rumy Jafry’s (on the right in picture) Chehre was the first Hindi film to be screened at the Pune International Film Festival. The 20th edition of the festival was held in Pune from March 3 to 10. The festival normally screens only Marathi and international films but it made an exception this year by screening Hindi film Chehre because of its content, making and performances. Rumy Jafry was also felicitated on the occasion.

Not just that, in appreciation of his direction in Chehre, the organisers had all the major awards to the winners presented at the festival’s closing ceremony at the hands of chief guest Rumy Jafry.
