The Delhi police have identified six suspects involved in the recent shooting of Punjabi singer-politician and occasional actor Sidhu Moose Wala, four of whom have been found to be actual shooters who committed the crime. The special cell of Delhi police may make some arrests in the case soon.
After the arrest of Siddhesh Kamble alias Saurabh Mahakal from Pune, two shooters were identified as Santosh Jadhav and Navnath Suryavanshi, each of who was paid Rs. 3.50 lakh. Mahakal received another Rs. 50,000 for introducing two of these shooters to mastermind Lawrence Bishnoi.
The Delhi police have also identified two of the men involved in the case of the threat letter to Salman and Salim Khan on 5th June. Bishnoi’s aide, Vikram Brar, had hatched the plot to terrorise Bollywood actors and extort money from them. For this, three men — Suraj, Aasman and Osama — from Rajasthan had been assigned the task by Brar of first sending a threat letter and later killing Salman. Suraj and Aasman had then gone to Bombay and done a recce of Salman Khan’s apartment. They also stayed at Palghar in Maharashtra before landing in Bombay.
According to the police, the latest threat letter incident is related to an earlier incident where Bishnoi had threatened to kill Salman Khan in 2018. Lawrence Bishnoi is currently being interrogated in a special cell in Delhi where he is lodged. Earlier, Bishnoi had claimed responsibility for Moose Wala’s killing. This was also confirmed by Mahakal after his arrest in Pune.
