A 24-year-old lady from Delhi last month reached Salman Khan’s farmhouse at Panvel near Bombay and created a ruckus, demanding that she be allowed to meet the star. She repeatedly said, she wanted to marry the actor.
Salman was not present in his farmhouse. The locals, who recorded her drama on video, informed the Panvel taluka police station. The cops detained the woman, and later took her to the New Panvel-based NGO, Social and Evangelical Association for Love (SEAL), for counselling. According to the SEAL founder, she seemed to be a fan of the star and her condition was quite serious. They admitted her to MGM Hospital for psychiatric treatment. She was in hospital for eight days.
“I have been watching Salman Khan’s films since childhood, and innocently thought, I could marry him,” the woman told SEAL volunteers on June 1. “Now, after coming to Panvel and undergoing all this (treatment), I have realised that I was wrong. He (Salman) is living his own life, and is not the same as what he does in films.”
