Vidya Balan on February 19 lodged a police complaint at Khar (Bombay) police station against an unknown person for creating fake social media accounts in her name and reaching out to people to discuss work. An FIR was registered under provisions of the Information Technology Act.
The actress had given a written application to the police station on January 20.
