FIRST PUNJABI FILM POST-LOCKDOWN TO RELEASE ON MARCH 11 | 18 January, 2021

Puaada, which in Punjabi means ‘trouble’, will release on March 11. This will be the first Punjabi film to hit the screens post-lockdown. Starring Ammy Virk and Sonam Bajwa, it is directed by Rupinder Chahal for producers Atul Bhalla, Pawan Gill, Anurag Singh, Aman Gill and Balwinder Singh Janjua. Banners: A & A Pictures and Brat Films. The two aforementioned banners had also produced 2019’s Punjabi blockbuster, Shadaa. The worldwide rights of the film, including theatrical, music, digital and satellite, have been acquired by Zee Studios.
