Released this week in Allahabad (U.P.), Sarthak Cinema’s Godaam is the love story of a poor farmer. It stars Vipin Panigrahi, Babli, Sujit Singh and Ritwik Singh.
The script and direction (both by Aksar Allahabadi and Akhil Gaurav Singh) are terribly weak. Performances are ordinary. Music (T.S. Muralidharan) and lyrics (Aksar Allahabadi) are functional. Vinod Sharma’s camerawork is average. Editing (by K.M.K. Palanivel) leaves a lot to be desired.
On the whole, Godaam is a poor show.
