Padma Nanda, mother of leading publicity designers Himanshu and Rahul Nanda, and widow of celebrated film writer and novelist Gulshan Nanda, breathed her last on 4th December in Bombay. She was cremated the same day. She was 86 and had been suffering from cancer since nine years. She is survived by Himanshu, Rahul and a daughter, Kajal, and their families.
A prayer meeting in her memory was held today (7th December) at Arya Vidya Mandir School, Bandra, Bombay.
