The release of Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha has been postponed once again. Instead of Christmas this year, it will now hit the screens on Valentine’s Day next year. Aamir Khan Productions took to social media today (26th September) to make the announcement of the new release date. Since Valentine’s Day (February 14) falls on Monday, one assumes that the film will release on February 11, 2022. The Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer, directed by Advait Chandan and produced jointly by Viacom18 Studios and Aamir Khan Productions, was first scheduled for release on Christmas 2020. Since the Coronavirus pandemic-induced lockdown played havoc with all shooting and release schedules, the producers of the film announced that it would release on Christmas this year. But the film has apparently faced further delays due to the second lockdown, and hence its release has been pushed further ahead.
