NARCOTICS CELL STARTS PROBE INTO KANGANA’S DRUG LINKS | 12 September, 2020

The Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) of Bombay police on 11th September started a probe into Kangana Ranaut’s alleged drug links. The home minister of Maharashtra gave orders to joint commissioner of police (crime), Milind Bharambe, who then held a meeting with the ANC.

Adhyayan Suman, son of Shekhar Suman and ex-boyfriend of Kangana Ranaut, had in a 2016 interview claimed that the actress consumed drugs and also forced him to do so. Home minister Anil Deshmukh had on 8th September said that the cops would probe allegations that Kangana took drugs.

Interestingly, Shekhar Suman, who had criticised Kangana tooth and nail when she had dumped Adhyayan years back, has been supporting Kangana after the demise of Sushant Singh Rajput in June this year in her claims that nepotism ruled Bollywood. It would be interesting to see how the drugs investigation unfolds in view of the enmity-turned-friendship between Kangana and the Sumans.
