West Bengal MP Nusrat Jahan made a zero hour mention in the Lok Sabha on 16th September of the dire straits in which the locked film industry finds itself today even as most other businesses have been granted permission to reopen post-lockdown. She informed the Lower House that lakhs of people depended upon the film industry for their livelihoods. She appealed to the government to grant the entertainment industry a relief package to help revive it.
