SOLAPUR FOREST DEPARTMENT USES ‘PUSHPA’ MOOD TO SAVE JUNGLES | 9 March, 2023

Taking inspiration from Pushpa: The Rise Part 1, the Solapur forest department has put up posters with a ‘filmy’ warning to curb jungle fire incidences which occur sometimes during this time of the year. Such posters have been put up at around 25 places in six forest ranges spread across 11 tehsils of Solapur district.

The posters display a picture of the film’s hero, Allu Arjun, and a cautionary note inspired by his dialogue in the film: “Jungle mein fire nahin, flower hone chahiye.” (Not fires, but flowers should bloom in the jungle.) The posters add that if anyone is found lighting a fire in the jungle, they would be fined Rs. 5,000 and would face a jail term of two years upon conviction.
