A special court in Bombay has granted actress Rhea Chakraborty permission to travel abroad for professional commitments for three months. Rhea is an accused in the drugs case probed following the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput in June 2020.
The order allows Rhea to travel to Sri Lanka, Serbia and various European countries between June 1 and September 15 for acting in web series Stepsons Season 1.
The prosecution opposed the plea, but the court noted that she had been granted permission in the past and she had not violated any conditions. Her lawyer highlighted her previous six international travels during which she consistently adhered to all bail conditions and returned to India.
