T-Series and Reliance Entertainment have joined hands to produce more than 10 films over the next two-three years. The collaboration, with an investment of approximately Rs. 1,000 crore, includes three big-budget films.
The slate includes Hindi remakes of Tamil films, a historic biopic, an espionage thriller, a courtroom drama, a satire-comedy, a romance drama and a film based on true events, among others. The films will be directed by filmmakers like Pushkar-Gayathri, Vikramjit Singh, Mangesh Hadawale, Srijit Mukherji and Sankalp Reddy.
Shibasish Sarkar (on the right in photograph), group CEO of Reliance Entertainment, said, “I really look forward to our partnership with T-Series.” According to Bhushan Kumar (on the left in picture), chairman and managing director of T-Series, “Shibasish and I hope to give our Hindi film audiences new and unconventional films.”
