Total Event Corporation’s The Creator Sarjanhar (UA) is the story about a man’s vision to have a world free of communalism.
Dr. Ray (Dayanand Shetty) dreams of a world without religious strife. He prepares a group of young friends to revolt against communalism. Of course, politicians and other vested interests feel threatened by the movement.
Praveen Hingonia has penned a story and screenplay, which are both Utopian in thought and also impractical. As such, the drama appears to be quite ridiculous, at times. The entertainment quotient of this implausible subject is, therefore, almost nil. Hingonia’s dialogues are dull.
Dayanand Shetty fails to impress as Dr. Ray. Raza Murad is average. Shruti Panwar is so-so. Arya Babbar is alright. Shaji Chaudhary does an ordinary job. Gurdeep Kohli is so-so. Ananth Mahadevan lends reasonable support. Sanjay Swaraj has his moments. Himani Sahani is alright. Pramod Moutho is adequate. Bushra Shaikh does an average job. Gyan Prakash, Bhuvnesh Mann and Praveen Hingonia pass muster.
Praveen Hingonia’s direction is weak. Music (Asif Chandwani, Parshuram Mishra and Rudra Gautam) is dull. Lyrics are okay. Asif Chandwani’s background score is weak. Annu Patel’s camerawork is below the mark. Rahul J. Thummar’s production designing is nothing to write home about. Ajay Varma’s editing leaves a lot to be desired.
On the whole, The Creator Sarjanhar is a poor show all the way.
Released on 26-5-’23 at Sterling (daily 1 show) and other cinemas of Bombay thru August Entertainment. Publicity & opening: poor. …….Also released all over.
