Producers Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani and Nikhil Advani have signed Vaani Kapoor opposite Akshay Kumar for their espionage thriller, Bellbottom. The actress will play a key role in the film set in the 1980s and inspired by true events. Being directed by Ranjit M. Tewari, the film is about one of India’s forgotten heroes. It is scheduled to go on floors this year. It is written by Aseem Arora and Parvez Shaikh. The film is being produced under the banners of Pooja Entertainment in association with Emmay Entertainment. It will release on 2nd April, 2021.
