AMITABH BACHCHAN NOW READY TO PAY FOR TRAIN FOR MIGRANT WORKERS | 31 May, 2020

After arranging 10 buses for migrant labourers returning to Uttar Pradesh, Amitabh Bachchan is now ready to send migrants by train to U.P., his home state, or Bihar. The star is ready to pay the fares of 1,200 passengers. If the government provides a free train, Bachchan will arrange for the transport of migrants from various places to the station, and for food and water on the train.

Since the lockdown started in March, Bachchan’s AB Corp has distributed 4,500 vegetarian food packets in different areas of Bombay, and 500 milk packets daily in some slums. A total of 10,000 ration kits, 20,000 PPE kits, masks, sanitisers and gloves have been supplied by the veteran actor to hospitals, crematoria and graveyards where COVID-19 patients and victims are taken.
