Shemaroo Entertainment came up with a novel idea to honour the living legends who were invited to attend its event on 23rd July at Novotel Hotel. It gifted them the Bhagvad Gita or the holy Koran, both in the form of audio books, brought out by Shemaroo itself. Shemaroo’s Living Legends With Komal Nahta was attended by veterans of the film industry whose contribution down the years and decades has been exemplary and immense. The guest list included yesteryear actresses Nimmi, Kamini Kaushal (seen in the recent Kabir Singh as Shahid Kapoor’s grandmother), besides Biswajit, Javed Akhtar, Shabana Azmi, Bindu, music composers Anandjibhai and Pyarelal, as also Subhash Ghai, Jeetendra, Prem Chopra, Satish Kaushik, Jaya Prada, Poonam Dhillon, Moushumi Chatterji, Barkha Roy and Ameen Sayani.
Shemaroo very thoughtfully gifted the veterans with either the Bhagvad Gita or the Koran, depending on what the guests preferred to receive.
