A staffer of Breach Candy Hospital was arrested today (13th November) for having secretly filmed and leaked a video of veteran actor Dharmendra and his family inside the hospital’s ICU where the 89-year-old star was on a ventilator. The video, which went viral in no time, captures deeply personal moments of the Deol family.
Earlier in the week, rumours about the veteran star’s death continued to dominate the headlines of some television news channels and social media. Wife Hema Malini and daughter Esha Deol issued official statements on 10th, 11th and 12th November to refute the rumours of his demise.
Dharmendra was admitted to the hospital on 31st October for heart problems. He was put on ventilator after experiencing breathlessness. The star was discharged from hospital on 12th November in spite of being critical.
