A police team from Moradabad (in Uttar Pradesh) visited Sonakshi Sinha’s house at Juhu in Bombay in connection with a cheating case filed against her by an event organiser. The police wanted to record the actress’ statement but could not as Sonakshi was away in Hyderabad.
In 2018, Moradabad-based event organiser Pramod Sharma had accused Sonakshi of not turning up at an event in Delhi after accepting an advance of Rs. 24 lakh.
