Gurucharan Singh, the actor from TV serial Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, who had gone missing on April 22, returned home on May 17. He told the police that he had embarked on a journey to various pilgrim destinations across different states. The 50-year-old actor had left his home in Delhi on April 22 to board the flight to Bombay but neither boarded the flight nor returned home. A kidnapping case had been registered after all searches proved futile.
