A magistrate’s court in Bombay recently granted bail to the 25-year-old man from Rajasthan, who was arrested for uploading a video threatening to eliminate actor Salman Khan. Banwarilal Gujjar from Bundi allegedly uploaded a video on YouTube in which he said, “Goldy (Brar), Rohit (Godara), Nitin and Vivek (all associated with jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi) are with us. Salman has an attitude. Despite being told to apologise for the black buck killing, he hasn’t… However tight his security…, we will eliminate him.”
In the bail plea, Gujjar’s lawyer submitted that the police arrested him on the ground that there was threat to Salman’s life due to the threat given by Bishnoi. It was also said that Gujjar had been arrested for the purpose of custodial interrogation and to find out who was behind him and supporting him and whether he belonged to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
