COURT WARNS SALMAN TO BE PRESENT OR BAIL WILL BE CANCELLED | 6 July, 2019

The Jodhpur district and sessions court hearing the blackbuck poaching case against Salman Khan took a serious view of the actor’s absence in court on 4th July and warned that his bail could be cancelled if he failed to appear at the next hearing on 27th September. Khan’s counsel, H.M. Saraswat, explained the superstar’s absence to the court by saying that he was busy shooting.

The court is hearing Salman’s appeal against the five-year sentence handed down to him in August 2018 for allegedly killing two blackbucks in 1998.
