The Oshiwara (Bombay) police’s prompt action helped actor Gajendra Chauhan get back the money he had lost to a cyber scam recently, in less than 10 days. On December 10, the actor placed an online order for dry fruits but lost Rs. 98,000 which got deducted from his bank account almost immediately after he keyed in the OTP he received, on the web page.
Gajendra Chauhan approached the Oshiwara police station to complain. The police helped him retrieve the lost money on December 19.
