ALI ABBAS ZAFAR, OTHERS CLEARED OF ALL CRIMINAL ALLEGATIONS | 4 March, 2026

Producer-director Ali Abbas Zafar (on the left in picture above) and producer Himanshu Mehra (on right) have been cleared of all criminal allegations levelled by producer Vashu Bhagnani against them with regard to the accounts of their joint production venture, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff. Bhagnani had accused Zafar, Mehra and Ekesh Ranadive of criminal activities relating to the accounts of the film. An FIR had been lodged against the trio. The three have been cleared of all the charges.

A detailed and independent investigation was conducted by competent authorities into all the allegations raised in the FIR. A closure report was filed by the investigating agency before the judicial magistrate first class, Bandra, Bombay. The agency did not find any criminality in the allegations mentioned in the FIR.
