Minions & Monsters (dubbed and the original English versions) opened on Thursday (July 2) and netted Rs. 0.53 crore. The original English version fared the best and its collections were far more than those of the dubbed versions.

Welcome To The Jungle did very well in the first week in spite of mixed reports. While one (small) section has not appreciated the film, another section (large) has loved the mad hatter comedy. After netting Rs. 3.75 crore on Thursday in paid previews, the film collected Rs. 15 crore on Friday. Collections shot up to Rs. 20 crore on Saturday, and further to Rs. 23.50 crore on Sunday. After a weekend total of Rs. 62.25 crore, collections during the weekdays were as follows: Monday – Rs. 8.25 crore, Tuesday – Rs. 8.75 crore, Wednesday – Rs. 6.25 crore, Thursday – Rs. 5.25 crore. With the total for the weekdays being Rs. 28.50 crore, the first week closed at an impressive Rs. 90.75 crore.

Navya Chakra Psycon World turned out to be a disaster in the first week.
Tera Mera Nata bombed in the first week all over.
Supergirl (dubbed and the original English versions) did fair business in 1st week. The original English version’s collections were around six times the collections of the dubbed Hindi versions. Collections of the dubbed Tamil and dubbed Telugu versions were lower than even those of the dubbed Hindi version. The film (all versions combined) netted approximately Rs. 3.50 crore in the first weekend, and another Rs. 2 crore during the weekdays. Hence the total for 1st week was Rs. 5.50 crore.

Cocktail 2 dropped more than 60% in the second week. The second weekend started with a take of Rs. 3.25 crore on Friday. Collections grew on Saturday and Sunday but not much. The total for Saturday was Rs. 4 crore while for Sunday, it was Rs. 3.85 crore. After a second weekend total of Rs. 11.10 crore, collections for the weekdays were: Monday – Rs. 1.25 crore, Tuesday – Rs. 1.45 crore, Wednesday – Rs. 1.15 crore, Thursday – Rs. 1 crore. Hence the total for the weekdays was Rs. 4.85 crore. In this way, the total for 2nd week was Rs. 15.95. Grand total for 2 weeks: Rs. 65.95 crore. If the block bookings of the first week (by the people associated with the film) are taken into consideration, the grand total for 2 weeks was Rs. 77.95 crore.

Toy Story 5 (animation; dubbed and the original English versions) added around Rs. 2.25 crore to its kitty in the second week. Grand total for 2 weeks: Rs. 9.25 crore.

Main Vaapas Aaunga continued to do well in the third week too. Despite the very slow start, the film has slowly but surely found a comfortable place in people’s hearts and emerged a success. The thirs weekend commenced with a net collection of Rs. 2.65 crore on Friday. Collections on Saturday increased to Rs. 4 crore. The total for Sunday was Rs. 4.05 crore. Therefore, the total for the third weekend was Rs. 10.70 crore. Collections for the weekdays were: Monday – Rs. 1.30 crore, Tuesday – Rs. 1.60 crore, Wednesday – Rs. 1.20 crore, Thursday – Rs. 1.10 crore. The total for the weekdays was, therefore, Rs. 5.20 crore. In this way, the third week closed at Rs. 15.90 crore. Grand total for 3 weeks: Rs. 51.30 crore.

Ghabad-Kund (Marathi) did quite well in the second week too in Maharashtra.
Tumbadchi Manjula (Marathi) continued with its winning streak in the fourth week in Maharashtra.
Deool Band 2 (Marathi) shone in the sixth week also, in Maharashtra.
