Sahdev Ghei, erstwhile vice president – distribution in Yash Raj Film Distributors, passed away this afternoon (11th July) at 3.45 p.m. in Bombay, reportedly due to cardiac arrest. He will be cremated on 12th at the Versova Hindu Cemetery, Yaari Road, Versova, Andheri West in Bombay. His final journey will start from his residence (Gambs Tower, Four Bungalows, Andheri West) tomorrow at 11 a.m.
Sahdev ji set up the distribution arm of Yash Raj Films. In a long and illustrious career spanning more than two decades, he worked tirelessly for the company he was loyal to till his last day. After leaving his full-time job in March 2017, he worked as a consultant with YRF till COVID-19 set in. After that, Sahdev ji led a retired life.
Besides his work, Sahdev ji was known for his pleasant disposition and his ever-smiling face.
