Bhumi Pednekar has been signed to play Belawadi Mallamma, Karnataka’s fearless warrior queen, by producer-director Sandeep Singh in The Pride Of Bharat: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Rishab Shetty leads the cast in the role of Shivaji Maharaj. The film also stars Arjun Rampal and Vivek Oberoi in pivotal roles. Written by Rishi Virmani, it will be made as a two-part film. Music by Amit Trivedi, and lyrics by Prasoon Joshi are the other major credits. The film is in the pre-production stage.
