Ohh My Dog did very ordinary business in the first week. After collecting Rs. 0.12 crore on Thursday (6th August), it netted Rs. 1 crore on the first day. Collections grew to Rs. 1.20 crore on Saturday, and further to Rs. 1.40 crore on Sunday. After a first 4-day weekend total of Rs. 3.72 crore, collections during the weekdays were rather dull: Monday – Rs. 0.26 crore, Tuesday – Rs. 0.36 crore, Wednesday – Rs. 0.35 crore, Thursday – Rs. 0.31 crore. With the total for the weekdays being Rs. 1.28 crore, the first week closed at Rs. 5 crore.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day (dubbed and the original English versions) entered the Rs. 400-crore club in the second weekend itself. It also became the biggest Hollywood blockbuster in India so far! The second weekend started with a take of Rs. 14.60 crore on Friday. Collections on Saturday and Sunday shot up to Rs. 34.20 crore and Rs. 35 crore respectively. Hence the total for the second weekend was a sensational Rs. 83.80 crore. In this way, the grand total till the end of the second weekend went up to Rs. 420.40 crore. Collections for the weekdays were as follows: Monday – Rs. 7.10 crore, Tuesday – Rs. 9.20 crore, Wednesday – Rs. 6.30 crore, Thursday – Rs. 5.40 crore. Hence the total for the weekdays was Rs. 28 crore. In this way, the second week closed at Rs. 111.80 crore. Grand total for 2 weeks: Rs. 448.40 crore.

The Odyssey (dubbed and the original English versions) continued its meritorious run in 4th week too. The fourth weekend began with a net collection of Rs. 2.29 crore on Friday. Collections on Saturday went up to Rs. 4.04 crore. The total for Sunday was Rs. 3.95 crore. After a fourth weekend total of Rs. 10.28 crore. Collections for the weekdays were: Monday – Rs. 1.28 crore, Tuesday – Rs. 1.45 crore, Wednesday – Rs. 1.35 crore, Thursday – Rs. 1.28 crore. Therefore, the total for the weekdays was Rs. 5.36 crore. In this way, the fourth week closed at Rs. 15.64 crore. Grand total for 4 weeks: Rs. 170.66 crore.

Dhamaal 4 added Rs. 2.75 crore to its kitty in the fifth week. Grand total for 5 weeks: Rs. 158.20 crore.

Mamachya Govyala Jauya (Marathi) did fairly well in 2nd week in Maharashtra.
