Rajesh Bhandari, father of Rohini Bhandari (associate producer at Luv Films), and brother-in-law of your editor Komal Nahta, breathed his last this morning (15th August). He was 73.
The death was sudden. He suffered a cardiac arrest in the morning and was rushed to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. Since his heart had stopped beating, the doctors tried to resuscitate him but to no avail.
Rajesh Bhandari is survived by his wife, a son, daughter, daughter-in-law and two grandchildren.
Since his son and his family are arriving from Singapore tonight, the funeral will be held tomorrow (16th) morning.
