The cyber police in Bombay on October 14 registered an FIR following actor Ranvir Shorey’s complaint that he received threatening emails containing abusive language. The FIR states that Ranvir received several emails on October 12 from two persons identified as Raj Parihar and Shahid Ali.
The first email was sent by Raj Parihar who claimed to know the actor’s schedule, and threatened that he would be “tracked” and “put on a watch list”. The email was marked to Shahid Ali. Parihar subsequently sent another email containing more threats. Shahid Ali responded to this email with verbal abuse and threats, the FIR states.
The cyber police officials said, they were investigating the matter.
